During this reporting period, ODOV project staff continued to provide ongoing technical support for the target households on home stead production. A total of 50 target households (32 women) were visited. The necessary technical support regarding to food production have been provided to the individual target household as their needs.
In addition to providing technical support on food production, ODOV project staff also worked to raise awareness for target households on the information about gender equality including gender roles, access and control over household’s resources, women rights and 10 fundamental to peaceful family. Through obtaining this knowledge, the participants applied their learning knowledge in daily lives. The participants reporting that they changed attitudes and behaviors.
“My husband has now become more respectful, he helped me to do the household roles/responsibilities, and our reduced family conflict” – Said by one of the project participants
