This is the first report of a project called "Enhance Food Security for 300 returned migrants". During this reporting period, ODOV organized two-day training for returned migrants on sustainable agriculture. In a total of five training sessions were organized. The participants who attended these training sessions were the returned migrant populations who lived in rural communities in Mesang district, Prey Veng province, Cambodia. There were 50 participants (32 women) who attended in the training program. Furthermore, after completing of the two day training program, all the 50 participants also received vegetable seeds for growing when they are back home. Those participants received five varieties of vegetable seeds to grow their home gardening such as Kangkong, long bean, cucumbers, white petiole and Chinese Cabbage. In the next few weeks, ODOV will continue to give chickens to these participants. The training participants expressed of their interest in participating with project and committed to apply their learning knowledge when they are back home. The participants also say thank you to ODOV and donors for their supports and gifts.

ODOV will continue to provide follow-up as well as additional technical support to the training participants to ensure that they are capable to implement their homestead food production activity in order to improve their food security and livelihoods.
