Warm greetings from CHHASE India. We are deeply grateful for your regular, generous support through GlobalGiving. Your kindness is a lifeline for 78 neglected elders who now live with comfort and dignity. Because of you, we provide essential monthly groceries—including rice, cooking oil, dal, vegetables, soap, and toothpaste—alongside vital medicines and clothes. Instead of facing hunger, these elders can now cook for themselves, stay active, and live safely.
One of our beneficiaries shared her heartfelt gratitude:
"I lost my husband 15 years ago and have no children. At 73, I can no longer work. My relatives turned me away when I begged for a meal. I prayed to God to save me from hunger, and those prayers were answered through CHHASE. Now, your support gives me regular groceries, clothes, and medicine. I am healthy, cooking my own meals, and living with dignity. I thank my donors from the bottom of my heart for helping me survive."
Why Your Support Matters
During our village visits, we found many elderly women abandoned by their families. While we offered them a place in our care centres, they refused to leave their homes, choosing to stay where their deepest family memories live. Tragically, many were left to beg or starve. To honour their wishes and protect their independence, CHHASE began delivering groceries directly to their doorsteps.
