Food Groceries to 78 Neglected Elder,Leper Cured

Thank you for your generous contributions for the monthly food groceries to neglected women, Deformed Leper & poor disable youth through esteemed organization GlobalGiving.

With your support, CHHASE is providing food groceries to 78 neglected women, deformed lepers and disable people in our project area. They are not only facing discrimination from community but also from their own family members. Your support enable us to remove this barrier and provide necessary food groceries like rice, dal,cooking oil, soaps, paste & brush, clothes etc and other medical necessities. With this provision, our beneficieries are happy and feeling secured.Their health conditions are improved and they convey their sincere thanks to you.

One of our beneficiary women said” My name is Kanniamma, age 79 years.I lost my husband, 20 years back and I lost my only one child to an road accident before my husbands death.My husband left me in helpless condition and without any property or money.When I lost him, I was not knowing, what to do for my future. Next day of my husband death, no neighbours or my relatives gave me one meal. I had a determination  not to approach my relatives or neighbours in any condition. From 3^rd day, I started going for house keeping work in my neighbouring village. For about 10 years, I was able to work.

One sudden illness made me weak and I was not having money, to go to doctor. This sickness made me very weak and I was unable to walk. After a weak starvation made to beg. Till I was rescued by CHHASE NGO, I was begging. Now with your generous support, I am getting monthly food groceries, right at my door steps. Now I am not starving and my health condition improved and I am able to walk little distance. Now I am living with dignity and healthy. I thank my donor’s and CHHASE NGO.”

With Your generous help us CHHASE is providing Food groceries, clothing and care to 78 neglected elder & disable people without difficulty.We provide Rice, tuar dal, cooking oil, chilli powder, tamarind, salt, vegetables, fruits, soaps, tooth brush, paste Etc. We also provide medicines and clothes to keep them in good health conditions and hygienically. These elders are neglected by their own family and blood relations. With your sympathy, they all forgot the gloomy days, how they suffered earlier for food. As a grass root Indian NGO, it was not possible to do all this program without you. Now they live with dignity. These provisions are happening because of your generous support and sacrifice of your hard earnings towards elderly care.
