By Nancy Janes | President, Founder and CEO, Romania Animal Rescue
I would like to begin this report by wishing each and every one of you a wonderful holiday season and a fabulous 2015!
I would also like to introduce you to Mihaela Raducanu and her small charity in Tecuci, Tomita. Mihaela founded her charity back in 2009. We first met back then and have developed a close working relationship and friendship. Mihaela coordinates our spayathons in Tecuci that generally occur each month.
Mihaela has a number of animals in her care and in foster care, 35 dogs and 15 kitties. The number of dogs has increased since the new Kill Law in Romania was voted in September 2013. Mihaela has pulled dogs from the Tecuci shelter that were starving and ill, and she has found starving kitties on the streets having been abandoned.
I would like to ask for your help to feed these animals if you would be so kind. We are currently working to get as many adopted out as possible as homes are available, and one kitten was just adopted on December 18, and 1 of her rescue dogs, Elijah, just came to California for adoption via Romania Animal Rescue.
Any donation is welcome, nothing is too small.
Thank you for reading this report, and thank you for helping the Romanian animals!
I wish you all the best!
Nancy Janes
