Dearest Friends,
I am writing you today to make a special plea for help to support Marius now 400 dogs and cats with food. Romania Animal Rescue's donations have decreased dramatically this year, and we are finding it difficult to fund the monthly food needed to feed these rescues.
Where do they come from, all these unwanted dogs and cats? From trash bins, bags on roadways, ditches, chains in the middle of nowhere. Many are dumped outside of the shelters Marius runs. Irresponsible people are dumping puppies, kittens, in heat females, pregnant females......even though we provide hundreds of spays and neuters in Urziceni. Our colleagues Diana and Anca go with the Spay Shuttle regularly to pick up dogs and cats from people to bring them to the Center of Hope for spay/neuter. Yet there are some people who still consider these unwanted animals to be nothing more than garbage.
Marius has a heart of gold and rescuing these animals is his passion. Please help us continue to be there for him to feed his animals.
The cost per month is $1200. Any donation helps.
