Food for Cancer Patients in Ghana

Cancer treatment can be physically demanding, while the cost of food adds another challenge for patients and families already struggling with medical expenses. Some cancer patients have difficulty maintaining access to nutritious meals throughout their treatment journey.

What We Have Done So Far

Adjah Cancer Support Ghana has been providing food assistance to cancer patients facing financial difficulties. We have engaged with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to understand the challenges patients experience in accessing adequate food during treatment.

With donations received, we have provided food and nutritional assistance to cancer patients who need support. This has helped patients and their families meet some of their basic food needs while managing the costs of cancer treatment and other household expenses.

Our support is focused on vulnerable patients who may have limited financial resources. We continue to identify patients who need assistance and provide food support as resources become available. Through this work, we are helping patients feel supported not only medically, but also in their everyday lives.

How Donations Are Helping

Donations are helping us purchase and provide food for cancer patients who may otherwise struggle to afford adequate meals. This assistance reduces some of the financial pressure on patients and families and helps them concentrate on their treatment and recovery.

The project remains ongoing, and many patients continue to need support. Continued donations will help us provide food assistance to more cancer patients and families across Ghana.
