Thank you again for your help. It’s been instrumental in helping fight the hunger epidemic and change families’ socioeconomic situations.
Beatriz and her family were put in contact with Dara after her fourth daughter was born. Due to complications during her pregnancy, her daughter was born at 32 weeks and weighed only 1.3kg. She remained in the maternity ward for 41 days until she was strong enough to be released.
Through our Family Action Plan, she was able to find opportunities to change her life: an incentive to finish school and get her diploma to increase her job opportunities. Our housing team has helped her transform her house into a healthier environment for her children and our team of nutritionists have been following the family and helping them eat healthier and make sure that all 6 family members are able to eat at all mealtimes, using the R$200 food card provided by Dara.
Beatriz’s commitment and dedication are evident, and with your donation she can keep growing until she’s able to provide financially for her entire family.
