Dara Institute is a civil society organization that works to promote health and human development by implementing and promoting an integrated multidisciplinary approach to fight poverty. A world pioneer in intersectoral work with social determinants of health, it was founded by Dr. Vera Cordeiro, in 1991, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
