We would like to thank you for your kind contribution!
Your support over the last weeks allows us to continue our social work focusing on food and nutritional security. Today we have 303 families totaling 451 children up to 11 years old.
One of them is Julia* (name changed) who was born premature and with syphilis. She needed to be hospitalized for 13 days shortly after her birth and her family lived in extreme social vulnerability.
Julia's family arrived at Instituto Dara in October of 2020 with a serious health condition with a diagnosis of child malnutrition. They received regular guidance from our physician and nutritionist with food and milk donations from our social technology: Family Action Plan. In just a few months with us, Esther has gained weight and is getting healthier.
Together we are making a difference! Julia is one of many children who had a chance to be cared for at Dara. Our multidisciplinary team using our social technology, the Family Action Plan, is helping socially vulnerable families to develop and become independent.
