Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Flying Midwives for 3,500 Rural Pregnant Women project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned maternal care outreach has not yet begun.
Across many rural communities in Nigeria, pregnant women continue to face serious risks due to long distances to health facilities and lack of skilled birth attendants. Poor roads and limited transport make it difficult to reach care on time.
Without timely support, complications during pregnancy and childbirth can lead to preventable loss of life for both mothers and newborns.
This project is designed to deploy trained midwives using motorbikes and bicycles to reach remote villages. Services will include antenatal care, safe delivery support, newborn care, and referral for emergency cases.
With the right support, more women can receive care closer to home, reducing risks and improving survival for mothers and babies.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this project can begin and reach women in urgent need of care.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
