Following last week's floods that have struck the region, the Foundation is committed to help reconstruct the areas that have been severely damaged by the waters. Specchio dei tempi has already done some first site inspections to understand the type of intervention that is needed. We have identifies a series of areas such as the Formation Center and kindergarten of Ceva, the bridge of Tanaro, the park of Ormea, the central roman road of Limone and help the businesses of Garessio.
On the 2nd and 3rd of October a major flooding has struct in northern Italy bringing great part of the Piedmont region to its knees. Many structures of numerous cities have been destroyed, businesses swiped away.
Specchio dei tempi has opened a subscription to raise money to help reconstruct as many structures, parks, bridges and help business after this tremendous events. We have already identified different areas of intervention in numerous cities within the piedmont region. The number of interventions will be determined by the result of the fundraising. Specchio has made available 50,000 euros, but there's a a lot to be done.
Our goal is not only to reconstruct but to help these cities to get back on their feet by giving theme the structures necessary to get back to their social and community life, help the businesses and make sure that they have the means for their economy to run smoothly.
