The problem we have is lack of rainfall and lack of water. This means farmers cannot farm their land and cannot employ the mothers which are part of our programs. We are currently trying to provide all of our mothers with a loan to buy a cow so they are not dependent on rainfall and getting work from local farmers. They still work in local farms when they can get the work and luckily the state have a programme which guarantees each mother and father 100 days work per annum. The pay is about two dollars a day.
