Due to the raging flood in Poland, the PAY IT FORWARD Foundation decided to help people with disabilities who lost their property and safety due to the dangerous element. Thanks to your support, we will be able to provide them with the professional charge in these difficult times and purchase the most necessary things.
People are losing their homes, all their belongings and most of all - the sense of security... Heavy rains falling in southern Poland since mid-September have caused water to take everything from people in just a few days. It's a terrifying element. Thousands of people were evacuated. Four provinces in southwestern Poland are covered by the highest level of hydrological warnings against level 3 floods. More than 14,000 soldiers had been deployed to flood-hit regions.
At the PAY IT FORWARD Foundation we have decided to collect money to help flood victims with disabilities and their loved ones. Over the coming months, we will provide housing, specialist care (nurse, assistant, independent living instructor), rehabilitation, and we will buy everything needed for people with disabilities who suffered from the flood.
We are ready to evacuate and house 4 disabled people who require constant care and rehabilitation. While they will be under our charge, their loved ones will be able to remove the effects of the flood, rebuild their homes and hopefully return to normal life... We will also be able to purchase and transport equipment and items needed in the flooded areas.
