ANNUAL SUMMARY OF VICENTE FERRER FOUNDATION
Thousands of women took part in the demonstrations of 8 March (International Women’s Day) and 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women).
To claim equality and denounce violence against women and girls.
We cooperate with Indian Government to eradicate child marriage through the helpline ChildLine.
3,000 people in Spain become promoters of women's businesses in rural India through the program "Woman to Woman".
For the first time, we can provide the second-line antiretroviral therapy for people with HIV/AIDS.
Every day, more than 2,200 patients receive medical attention in our hospitals and rural clinics.
We maintain a 100% enrollment ratio in primary.
More than 90% of trained young in our Professional School has gotten a job.
We have started vocational training, an activity to promote the employment of young people with intellectual disabilities.
We have become ambassadors for the Indian government in its national campaign against the country’s sanitation crisis.
We will build 40,000 bathrooms as part of Clean India Missionprogram (Swachh Bharat Abhiyan).
We have planted 1,000 trees in Anantapur, together with the non-profit organization Plant for the Planet, to combat deforestation and increase oxygen levels.
Thirteen athletes who take part in VFF programs have represented India in the Special Olympics in Los Angeles 2015.
They came back home with 17 medals.
VFF moved its emergency teams to give support in flooding caused by "El Niño".
Assisting more than 56.000 people.
