In the last few months the number of infected persons has risen very strong all over the world. Especially in Romania the numbers were enormous . In a Country in which the Health care system requires a lot of self payment – this situation is very bad.
Again we had to stock up on everything to be prepared. Food, vaccines and protection materials against the pandemic as gloves, disinfectants, masks and soap.
Tests for COVID-19 are needed every time for our transports of dogs to Germany. Additionally our local animal welfare activists support their employees with needed testing and the costs for.
On the other hand the normal preparations for the winter shape the normal activities in the shelters. We sincerely hope that there will not be any major breakdowns among the welfare activists and the workers due to the pandemic. That would be a very worst situation for all our dogs in the shelters.
warmly and stay healthy
