The current, really frightening, inflation situation with rising prices all over the world affects many areas of the work of ProDogRomania and we have to face these challenges and look for solutions so that we can care solidly for our dogs in our shelters in Romania.
We have to maintain the care of our dogs in the four shelters in Romania that we look after. It is very probable that Romanians will leave more dogs in the shelters during this difficult time, but at the same time they will not be able to travel to Germany because of the restrictions at border crossings.
Establishing reserves of food, vaccines, deworming and other necessary medication, so that in case of delivery difficulties in Romania, the care of the dogs is guaranteed. Construction of additional kennels, so that the increasing number of dogs can be accommodated reasonably.
Our commitment, especially in these difficult times, will help all dogs on site and later also increase the acceptance of our local animal welfare activists and their educational work to have owner dogs neutered. Furthermore, the administration sees especially in the public shelter that we stand by the dogs in every phase.
