These results were more than expected!.  In our previous report we informed that a new cohort was soon to be completed, but our expectations were exceeded through some alliances we have signed with important corporations that have been our projects'  benefactors through the year.

Taking the opportunity of being a co-participating member of the Caracas Start Up Week we founded the best arena to potentiate our interventions, considering that facilities at remote places or waiting for rooms provided by the communities or Municipalities were impeding a higher impact and reach. So we have found out that initiating alliances with various corporations enabled to add not only wider and beautiful classrooms and coffee breaks, but marvellous volunteer teams who acted as instructors to complete two programs which helped us reach out 60 new beneficiaries that are now prepared with financial and entrepreneurship knowledge and tools for them to initiate their own business.

With the resources some donors have provided and finding out this important support to our structure, we were able to duplicate expectations. We feel proud of counting with excellent companies, Telefonica and DirecTV , to provide their spaces and volunteerism to cope with these two cohorts. One of these, the program taught at Telefonica Foundation, was addressed to teachers for them to replicate the knowledge among their schools' students who needed it primarily.

New steps to climb for reaching our goals and we keep walking.

After various controversial months both for the political and economic aspects envolving our organization and projects, we are next to initiate a new cohort of women. These women are now receiving preparation for clothing sewing and will be ready to receive our capacitation once their course is finished.  We have contacted other organizations that usually provide women with abilities and production skills but there is a lack of financial and entreprenurial tools needed to initiate a small business.

After two months of not having found an interesting number of women to continue with our project, we will be initiating this new course for a team of 18 women in a three weeks period.  Materials have already been prepared for them to count on printed support and classes will be provided in another municipality we have impacted to date. We have not received any funding yet but count on at least the necessary donation to afford costs involved in production matters.

We hope to count with social media to support this initiative, not only ours but also from the other organization and will keep you informed on these regards.

Women entrepreneur Manuals for the next cohort
Women entrepreneur Manuals for the next cohort

Beginning February the fourth 2018 donation was received and it has been used for issuing new books for the next cohort to be trained in March.

Nowadays we are managing the hyperinflation created by erroneous policies and  malversation of public funds. Printing costs have increased to unexpected levels, as much as 1.000.000% in less than a year. Bills and coins have been issued without control while our organization is managing goals' expectations completing education materials with PDF's presentations and other less expensive deliverables in order to cope with these through reducing expenses in various lines.

We absolutely believe that in times of conflict it is necessary to remain active, to pursue on working for our beneficiaries being ready to improve reach once the order is recovered.  That is why we continue, we still maintain our alliances with other organizations for the ones in need, and we are sure than in a short term all this mess will be controlled to initiate another favorable story in the life of our country and for its development  Our organization will be there to contribute to this new route.

Happy day ending

Just some weeks to go for Christmas and thanking God for the many blessings received, we are proud to report the completion of two new events: first, "Sharing thoughts with our women entrepreneur"; the initiation and  prompt ending of the fourth cohort of Women Entrepreneur with support from many donors and in alliance with Cania, a center for breath feeding and nutrition guidance for low income women.

We have invested funds received for women financial education in the first event, which ran last November 12, initiating the Global entrepreneur week.  Along a long morning and with support of various interesting women who have been successful leading their own business, women from different cohorts received tips and recommendations to better shape their initiatives, as they were provided with finance and soft skills tools to help them succeed, following these speakers' examplary roles.

A second initiative covered during this quarter, for third time in a row,  count on 30 beneficiaries, women who has begun and will surely complete their training to be presented with a certificate as "Women Entrepreneur" the third cohort graduated at that center.  Women attend this nutrition center where artisan work and other job tools are taught to help them produce and maintain their livelyhoods. These women attend the center to learn nutrition skills in order to better feed their kids. With our program these skills are put into action for them to be productive.

Success is the word. We motivate them to succeed and reach their dreams.  We are sure we have done something positive to change these women lives along 2018. 65 women are our beneficiaries. 65 women will leave poverty while will be incorporated as productive individuals within our society.

As promised in our last report, we've finally completed the search fand preparation of a new team of 26 women who have been formed with our contents and gained abilities for entrepreneurship in hard times.

Our effort began at the end of June and the learning process went through the end of July, completing all the sessions addressed to an initial  group of 35 who was adjusted to  the final 26 women who attended to all the classes.  This program has been taught in alliance with CANIA, a center supported by one of the major food companies' group which provides feeding to low income children and their mothers for them to recover their basic nutrition conditions and health.  These children and their mothers attend the center on a daily basis along various weeks. While these kids are been nurtured, their mothers receive classes and preparation not only on nutrition guidance and fundamentals, but are also formed with knowledge and abilities to apply for a decent job or initiate their self develop work initiatite which allow them to overcome the dramatic crisis the country is going through.

As per this alliance, our program "Women entrepreneur" is taught to the women once they finish their preparation for work as our means for them to initiate their own small business.  Our experience with this group has been amazing reaching 26 women who have all recognized that their lives were one before and other different after receiving our program contents. They have referred how this learning experience has changed their expectations and way of thinking about job preparation and entrepreneurship.

Thanks to the tools and inspiration received all them presented their initiatives projects to the a dozen of volunteers from the Economics and Administration faculties of recognized universities, who served as facilitators to provide the knowledge along 12 weeks continuous weeks.  After the program closing and results measurements, the allied organization has contacted us to continue with our alliance, while has asked for possibilities to implement other financial educaiton programs to round preparation their beneficiaries are receiving while their kids are fed.

Plans are to continue after the center operations are relaunched , approximately the end of september, with the almost $290 of the second quarter received in August.

Thanks to all our donors this program continuoues to impact more women lives, benefiting theirs and their families quality of life.
