Liberia is making a great progress in the fight of the Ebola epidemic and we can assure that right now there is no Ebola case in the ETU in Liberia. We want to thank all of our donors and supporters for their love and donations made to our project. Our victory did not come by our strength but it took men and women across all nations to make us to be victorious. Our partners and supporters from America, Europe and the rest of the world stood with us in this fight. Some of them got infected and were quarantine and got totally separated from their family just to help our country get free from the Ebola epidemic. Thousands in the world that could not get to the battle field provided our soldiers on the frontline with their resources. VAAFD was fighting at three frontlines in Paynesville which included Soul Clinic that had over 13 blocks or communities, Police Academy community and Pipeline community which is one of the largest communities in Paynesville area. Soul Clinic was one the hot zone during the Ebola epidemic in Liberia but our soldiers fought to get situation under control.
Our team remains focus and committed to the fight of Ebola in Liberia. The mayor of Paynesville gave a concerned in March about NGOs now turning to their main works and no longer interested in the fight of Ebola she therefore invited our organization to help research all school in the Paynesville belt that did receive Ebola preventive kits to be able to report that to her office for help. She said that this is the time that we should be very careful and work higher with the schools kids and the community. She also said that we cannot celebrate that Liberia is Ebola free if Guinea and Sierra Leone still experiencing new case. Our team is also checking on varies school to see if the materials supplied by the United States government and ministry of Education have been properly. Our team also joined the ECAP project which ended at the beginning of April 2015 to combat the invisible enemy Ebola, and we think we have finally defeated Ebola.
Most of our work is now focusing on providing education to Ebola orphans and hoping to be able also provide some micro finance support to survivors in the form of Ebola recovery care. We are still hoping on you to continue to support us as we continue to provide basic services to those of our brothers and sisters who have been affected by this epidemic.
We appreciate your support and we want to you to feel free to contact us at any time to know how are using your resources you continue to donate to our organization.
We are also proud of Globalgiving for all of the supports they continue to give our project especially in this time of the Ebola crisis in our country. Please feel free to contact us if you have any question
