Fight Sickle Cell Disease for 500 Children

By Selina Kwame | Project Director

Dear Supporters,

We are sincerely grateful for the donations received toward our Fight Sickle Cell Disease for 500 Children project. Your generosity is helping us take important steps toward supporting children living with sickle cell disease and easing the burden on their families.

So far, the support received has helped us continue our outreach and engagement with children and families affected by sickle cell disease. We have provided information and education about managing the condition, encouraged families to seek timely medical care, and worked to identify children who face financial difficulties in accessing essential healthcare.

A portion of the funds received is also being used to support urgent needs identified among vulnerable children and their families, including assistance with healthcare-related expenses and other essential needs. We continue to work with families and healthcare stakeholders to understand where support is most needed and to direct available resources appropriately.

Although we have received some donations, the need remains much greater than the resources currently available. Our goal is to reach and support 500 children, and continued donations will allow us to provide more children with medical assistance, medications, nutritional support, transportation assistance, and other essential care.

Every contribution, regardless of size, brings us closer to ensuring that children living with sickle cell disease receive the support they need to live healthier and more fulfilling lives.

Thank you for standing with these children and their families and helping us make a lasting difference.
