Fengal cyclone and Torrential rain as disaster that make severe affecting in 7 district of Tamil Nadu. ROSI Foundation is extending support as immediate relief for the affected people such Drinking water, rice, groceries, sugar, tea, tarpaulins, blankets, dresses, solar lanterns, mosquito coils and net.
Cyclone and Torrential rain continuously several days poured that has resulted major flood, landslides, destruction about thousand of houses, lives, thousand of animals and normal life of people severely affected. People are in the shelter and relief camps. Road, electricity, health service, drinking water, etc are total affected.
As immediate support for 10000 victims, ROSI is to supply Drinking water, rice, groceries, sugar, tea, tarpaulins, blankets, dresses, solar lanterns, mosquito coils and net. The raised amount will be spent to support relief work in the disaster victims and volunteer groups are engaged.
When the first phase work as Relief is ended, funds will be utilized for long term reconstruction and rehabilitated. ROSI work as rehabilitation works will take place as health camp, house repairs, shelter provision, counselling, educational support, etc will be taken.
