In recent years, poverty in the state of Puebla has increased by 64% and of this population in poverty, a large percentage of women living in tough conditions are responsible for providing food to their families and keeping up their households. Our projects provide this food aid to these families through a rounded approach with food pantries, offering nutritional education, social responsibility, and employability in order to attain self-sufficiency.
Although we currently provide monthly food allowance to more than three thousand women at the head of a 3 to 4 person household. in the capital of Puebla, 1,333,4000 people do not have access to food and 56% are women.
Each person who receives food aid from us receives nutrition workshops that allow them to improve the quality of life. Additionally, we offer social responsibility programs in different communities where we train people to produce or offer services that allow self-sufficiency nourishment. The goal of this project is to be able to provide this support to more families that need it whom due to lack of resources we cannot reach them
Through the years our projects are in continuous improvement as to help more people and in better ways. Food is one of the means for the beneficiaries to achieve a better quality of life however, employability is also one of our most important goals in order to provide self-sufficient.
