Dear Partner In Showing Love!
Compliments of the Season!
This year, with your help, our shelter for survivors of domestic abuse, the Sholly Serenity Place, took in 12 new residents (2 Teenagers, 3 moms and their 7 children). They are all still with us and we are looking foward to having a lovely Christmas with them all.
We also financed the relocation/housing of one of our TSSP residents who needed to demonstrate that she had a place to stay to enable her file for custody of her two young children. She is set to move in to her very own place before this month runs out. You can see the photos of her new one bedroom self contained partment in the full report.
One of the things we are happiest about this year is getting approved by GlobalGiving!
To date, we have raised $3,020.00 from 12 donors of which 2 are recurring donors! Thank you GlobalGiving for this wonderful platform!
