This project will supply dry ration to Rickshaw drivers, itinerant produce peddlers, maids, day laborers and other nonformal workers who are affected due the 21 days of Lock Down with the outbreak of COVID 19. The Nonprofit identified 350 such families from the District of Trivandrum, Kerala, India and decided to supply the food items to the vulnerable families in the state.
The lock down imposed by the government of India due to the COVID 19 outbreak created joblessness among the rickshaw drivers, migrant laborers, street vendors and those who live by their daily wage . Those are people with lack of savings and the shortage in income resulted in difficulty to procure the essential food items. Our charity has identified 350 such families in the district who requires immediate support to procure the materials
Your donation to this project will help the most vulnerable families in Kerala, India to procure essential food items during the lock down. Your donation will help us to prepare a Kit with essential ration (including 10 kg rice, 1 L coconut oil, 100 gm-coriander powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder, 3 Kg Onion, 2 Kg Potato, 1kg Dhal, 1 Kg sugar, washing soap, toilet shop, Detol)
Lock down helps to prevent the community spread of COVID 19 disease, which directly reduces the mortality rate and thereby ensuring the health safety of the people living in this area
