Helping families fight COVID Wave 2

Food Distribution in nearby slum

We are delighted to report about the successful initiative to feed 100 labor families during Covid-19 by ISKCON Varanasi. In this time of global crisis, the labor families have to struggle a lot because they don't have any work due to Lockdowns everywhere.

Our Volunteers were going to nearby slums and villages to reach out to more and more labor families. We provided free daily meals, whole grains, and sanitizing materials to underprivileged brothers and sisters.

During the last quarter, we feed 150+ labor families continuously. We were going out there daily and helping the villagers with food, awareness, and sanitation kits. We also conducted awareness programs for them to safeguard COVID.

We also distributed 2000+ Sanitizing kits to those families.

We also provided free 1000+ Kgs of Grains to those labor families.

We are very thankful to all our generous donors and brave volunteers and local administration for their valuable support in this time of dire need.
