This Eid ul Adha, Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation (DWAF) brought the spirit of sharing and inclusion to Deaf and financially struggling families through Qurbani meat distribution.
Through this initiative, more than 100 deserving families received fresh Qurbani meat, benefiting an estimated 500+ individuals, including Deaf persons, women, children, and other family members.
For many of these households, financial difficulties make it challenging to afford meat and fully participate in Eid celebrations. Our team and community volunteers identified deserving families and ensured that the meat was distributed respectfully, allowing families to celebrate this special occasion with dignity and joy.
For DWAF, this initiative was about more than food. It was about ensuring that Deaf families, particularly those facing financial hardship, felt remembered, included, and connected to their community during Eid ul Adha.
We are grateful to everyone who supported and contributed to this effort. Your support enables us to continue reaching vulnerable Deaf families and bringing dignity, inclusion, and happiness into their lives.
Thank you for standing with the Deaf community and helping us make Eid more inclusive.
