This Eid ul Adha, DWAF aims to provide Qurbani meat to Deaf and financially struggling families across Pakistan who are often overlooked during festive occasions. Many Deaf households face unemployment, communication barriers, and limited support. Through this project, vulnerable families will receive fresh meat and essential support with dignity and care, allowing them to celebrate Eid with happiness, inclusion, and hope.
Many Deaf and low-income families in Pakistan struggle to afford basic necessities and are often overlooked during Eid ul Adha. Due to unemployment, communication barriers, inflation, and limited social support, many families are unable to arrange Qurbani meat for their households. In smaller cities and underserved communities, Deaf individuals face even greater isolation and exclusion. This project will support vulnerable Deaf and deserving families by helping them celebrate Eid with dignity.
Through this project, DWAF will arrange Qurbani animals and distribute fresh meat among Deaf and financially struggling families across different communities in Pakistan. The project will ensure that vulnerable households, including women, children, and persons with disabilities, can participate in Eid celebrations with dignity and joy. DWAF volunteers and community networks will help identify deserving beneficiaries and ensure transparent and respectful distribution.
This project will promote inclusion, dignity, and community support for Deaf individuals and underserved families who are often neglected during important social and religious occasions. Beyond immediate food support, it will strengthen trust, emotional well-being, and social connection within the Deaf community. The initiative will also raise awareness about the challenges faced by Deaf families and encourage long-term community engagement and support for disability inclusion in Pakistan.
