Adopted! We Love When This Happens for a Child At Neemaland!

Hey friend!

First off, we want to thank you again for your donation. Due to generous donors like you, we continue to provide the best nutritional and educational opportunities possible for the 65+ children who call Neemaland Queens and Kings Center home. And over the last year, we have seen great improvements in the consistency of the care they receive. But there is always room for improvement, which is why we will continue the work until every child who spends a season at Neemaland has the best we can offer!

Now one thing we love to see is one of our Neemaland children get adopted! Featured in this update is Justin. When Elaine began traveling to Kenya in February 2020 and visited Neemaland for the first time, she got to meet Justin. Back then, he was just two weeks old and had just arrived at Neemaland. Over the last few years as Elaine has traveled back and forth to Kenya, and specifically to check in on Neemaland, she has had the pleasure of watching Justin grow. And then, it happened! This past fall, Justin was legally adopted into his forever home! Happy, healthy, and with a bright future, Justin is on his way to a whole new life.

Over the years, Neemaland has bid farewell to several children either due to reaching an adult age or, for some of the younger ones, like Justin, due to adoption (a true blessing indeed). However, for each child that leaves Neemaland, others take their place. This is why your donation matters! So thanks again for helping us to continue this important work of giving these children the best chance at life. They so deserve it!

Blessings to you and yours! The SSFI Team
