Project Report | May 13, 2025
How we've been impacting the world in 2025

By Nicholas Shin | Projects and Planning Leader

Hi, dear supporters and globalgiving donors!

We are thrilled to be able to reach to you all again, now showing a bit of our work now in 2025.

Partnerships: IMC started a new bridge of contact with TETO, an organization that works directly to build sustainable housing for vulnerable communities. At a coffee for partners at Bank of America, the Institute's corporate team was able to exchange ideas with major philanthropists and other partners for the development of both active projects and new sustainable impact fronts.

Projects: Together with the Ferraz de Vasconcelos Municipal Department of Education, we promoted pedagogical training for public school teachers, helping to bring more knowledge, innovation and quality to the classroom!

Pedagogical: In March, we held workshops on Women's Day, with a focus on developing an understanding of the women with whom the students have ties, as well as the importance of women's contributions to social life. 8/3/2025. We also started the sustainability workshops, where we worked on themes pertinent to this year's global context, such as caring for nature, deforestation, fires and caring for water. 22/3/2025. In the same context, it was also possible to work on the importance of personal hygiene and caring for the body and health. For our students in the initial classes, we began the process of recognizing their feelings in the socio-emotional workshops. On the other hand, the students in the final classes began their life and career projects.

Investment in projects: Between January and March, the Melo Cordeiro Institute invested R$151,223.81 in its projects, more than 25% of which came from the sponsorship and donor programs. This means that without our sponsors and globalgiving donors, it wouldn't be possible to sustain the Institute's daily projects! This quarter, we guaranteed healthy food, quality education and cultural development for our students!

Thank you so much for being around to help us do so much good!

We are thrilled with this year's opportunity, and we hope that you, our donors, can help us more and more to reach new people and communities.
