In Kenya, 35,000 children under the age of 5 die from under nutrition each year. Many children face each day with empty stomachs and little hope. In East Africa 42 million people faced high levels of food insecurity in 2025 (IGAD). The number of people in food crisis nearly tripled from 13.9 million in 2016 to 41.7 million this year. At Naomi's Village, we're fighting childhood hunger through a comprehensive feeding program that fuels learning, growth, and healing.
Naomi's Village provides three nutritious meals and two snacks daily to 96 orphaned children living at Naomi's Village Home. In addition, our school feeding program reaches 426 children from the surrounding communities, who receive two meals and two snacks each school day while attending our LEAP Preschool and Cornerstone Preparatory Academy (K-12).
