Help RLC Feed 5 Million - Giving Tuesday Campaign

Thank you for your continued support of Rescuing Leftover Cuisine's mission. Because of donors like you, excess food that would otherwise be thrown away becomes a warm meal for someone who needs it.

During a recent food delivery to one of our nonprofit partners, a gentleman came up to our CEO, Robert Lee, and shared his story:

"I've been going shelter to shelter looking for food. I'm a lifelong taxpayer, and I've always worked. A couple of years ago I got sick and couldn't work any longer. I never thought I would be in this place, but your donations have made it possible for me to survive."

His story is one of thousands. Many of our neighbors facing food insecurity have worked their whole lives and never expected to need support. Cuts in SNAP funding are making food access support even more necessary for millions of people.

RLC is meeting this need by building new partnerships and platforms that make food access even easier. We're thrilled to share that we recently launched our new platform EvryBite in Boston! This allows people to source discounted food directly from restaurants, cafes, and bakeries that may have excess food. It lets businesses continue to earn revenue, keeps more food out of landfills, and brings affordable food options directly to customers. 

We're excited to continue sharing updates about new ways we're meeting the needs of communities. Thank you again for believing in our work and being part of these excess food solutions!
