This poultry business not only provides sustainable income for impoverished widows and orphans but also empowers them with economic independence and the means to secure a better future. With the income from this business we can help many families and children break the cycle of poverty.
Tanzania faces challenges in chicken food stability due to high feed costs, leading to reduced poultry production. This, coupled with high unemployment rates and widespread poverty, highlights the need for sustainable solutions. In Tanzania, 49% of people survive on less than $1.90 a day, which is a dire issue. It means families struggle to afford even the most essential things like food, shelter, and education. This poverty cycle is a pressing concern that calls for attention and action.
"Feathers of Hope" will empower locals with jobs and channel 90% of profits to support vulnerable communities through WOW Tanzania. By doing so, it directly addresses poverty, raises incomes, and improves livelihoods in Tanzania, contributing to a brighter future. "Feathers of Hope" will enhance food stability by producing quality chicken meat, helping meet local demand and reduce reliance on expensive imports, ultimately stabilizing food prices and availability in Tanzania.
By providing sustainable employment opportunities to locals and dedicating 90% of profits to support orphans and widows through WOW Tanzania, we are fostering economic growth and stability. As we grow, we'll contribute to poverty reduction, better food security, and increased self-reliance for vulnerable communities. Through our chicken business, we aim to break the cycle of poverty, improve livelihoods, and create a ripple effect of positive change that will benefit generations to come.
