Greetings to you all dear friends of FAWEZI. In our last report we celebrated the success of 3 beneficiaries who excelled in their National ‘O’ Level examinations. This time around we are happy to tell you that through your support we have managed to pay school fees and examination fees for 8 of our girls whore are currently in form 4 under Non Formal Education. FAWEZI is grateful for your support as these girls are so close to attaining a basic Zimbabwean education qualification. We are confident in their capabilities and can’t wait to be sharing their results come 2020. Besides these examination candidates we also paid school fees for the other 2 girls (one of which is a teen mom) who are in form 3 and will be writing ‘O’ Level examinations next year.

The organisation also bought sanitary pads for some of the girls and distributed them according to the intensity of the need .We look forward to supporting them further with sanitary pads and education on menstrual hygiene management. In line with the 2019 Menstrual Hygiene day (May 28) we will be meeting with our beneficiaries to discuss issues and answer questions surrounding menstruation so that we de - mystify the topic and reduce the risk of them missing or dropping out school due to lack of adequate and accurate information on menstruation and sanitary pads .

We have established that the financial support the girls are receiving coupled with the occasional visits and talks goes a long way in boosting their self- confidence resulting in improved performance at school.

FAWEZI is grateful to you our donors for your continued support, and we believe that we are making a difference to the future of Zimbabwean women one girl at a time. Let us continue to rebuild lives and restore hope!

We are glad to have you all on board- Thank you.
