ANOTHER INCREDIBLE MILESTONE!

Thank you for walking this journey with us!

Another exciting and encouraging moment for all of us! Schools across the country have closed for the long holidays, but our examination candidates are still in school, preparing for and sitting their national examinations. These include Grade 6, Grade 9, and Form Four (Grade 12) students. The entire nation is watching with great anticipation as these young learners take this important step in their educational journey.

We are especially grateful and excited because every one of our children has remained in school, and we have recorded zero dropouts among our examination candidates!

This year, we have 36 pupils sitting their Grade 6 examinations, 30 students in Grade 9, and 33 students in Form Four. That is a total of 99 young people working hard to complete their respective levels of education and prepare for the next chapter of their lives.

We are proud of them! Their performance throughout their studies has been encouraging, and we have every reason to believe that they will achieve excellent results. We believe in their abilities, their hard work, and the bright futures ahead of them.

And do you know what makes this achievement even more special? YOU helped make it possible!

Your generosity has provided these children with the opportunity to remain in school, access quality education, receive the support they need, and concentrate on their studies without the constant burden of wondering whether they will be able to continue learning. You have given them more than school fees and educational materials; you have given them confidence, hope, and the opportunity to dream bigger.

We are deeply grateful for the wonderful work you continue to do in the lives of orphans and vulnerable children. Through your support, you are not only providing access to quality education but also restoring hope, strengthening families, and giving children opportunities to grow and thrive just like their peers. The transformation we are witnessing is remarkable, not only in the lives of the children but also in their families and communities.

As our Grade 9 students complete their primary education and prepare to join senior school, we celebrate the incredible educational milestones made possible through your partnership:

465 students have completed primary education.
315 students have completed high school and graduated from universities and colleges.
120 students are currently in high school.
30 Grade 9 graduates are preparing to join senior school next year.

These are not just numbers. They represent children who have stayed in school, young people who have pursued their dreams, families whose hopes have been renewed, and futures that have been transformed.

Every graduate is a testimony of what is possible when a child is given an opportunity and someone chooses to believe in them.

SCHOOLS REOPENS AFTER MID-TERM BREAK!

School has reopened after the mid-term break, and we are delighted to see all our children back in class, refreshed, energized, and ready to learn. The break lasted one week plus the weekend, providing the learners with a much-needed opportunity to rest before returning to their studies. We are pleased to report that they have all settled back into school very well.

The mid-term break is an important part of the school calendar as it allows learners to recharge and prepare for the end-of-term examinations. The second term is always one of the busiest and most demanding because the third term is much shorter and includes the national examinations. We are encouraged by the children's performance during the first half of the term. Their assessment reports showed positive progress, which is both exciting and motivating for the children, their families, and all of us who support them.

Because the mid-term break is so short, we do not organize additional activities during this period. Instead, we encourage the children to rest, spend time with their families, and return to school refreshed and ready to focus on their studies.

We are especially grateful to report that all of our sponsored children remained in school throughout the term without any interruptions. This would not have been possible without your generous support. Your commitment enables us to provide school fees, learning materials, and other essential needs that allow these children to stay in school and pursue their dreams.

Investing in a child's education is one of the most meaningful and lasting gifts you can give. Your sponsorship is transforming lives, not only by giving children access to education but also by bringing hope and stability to their families. We continue to have many vulnerable children on our waiting list who are hoping for the same opportunity. Thank you for your generosity

We began the year on a positive note, with all the children returning to school full of enthusiasm and excitement to learn. It was wonderful to listen to their holiday stories and hear how they spent their time at home. Seeing their smiling faces, filled with hope and expectation for the new term, is always a great encouragement.

Recently, the pupils had a one-week half-term break, which gave them a much-needed time to rest and reconnect with their families. We were happy to send them home for this short holiday, and now they have returned to school refreshed and ready to continue learning as they look forward to completing the first semester.

One of the most inspiring things about these children is their deep love for learning. They value the opportunity they have been given, and they truly appreciate the supportive and nurturing environment at school. Their education continues without interruption, giving them hope for a brighter future.

This would not be possible without your generous support. Because of you, these children have been given a second chance in life. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and for choosing to sponsor the children of Tumaini Miles of Smiles. Your support is making a lasting difference in their lives.

This year we admitted 20 partial orphans, most of whom have lost their fathers. In total, we now have 35 pupils in school who are in need of sponsorship. They are already attending classes, eager to learn and build a better future.
