Report Body
Dear GlobalGiving Team and Supporters,
We are submitting an honest update on Faith Creates Opportunity: Orthodox Youth Finance.
This project was created to help Orthodox youth in Greater Accra turn vocational skills into sustainable small businesses through access to microfinance, business training, and mentorship. The proposed annual program has a budget of USD 120,000 and is designed to support youth enterprise development through loans, training, supervision, and financial monitoring.
At the time of this report, the project has not received the funding required to begin implementation.
Because no adequate funding has been secured:
We believe it would be financially irresponsible to begin a lending program without sufficient capital for loan disbursement, participant support, monitoring, and repayment management. For this reason, implementation will begin only when enough funding is available to operate the first phase responsibly.
The need remains unchanged. Many skilled young people have the ability to work and build small enterprises but lack access to affordable capital and structured guidance.
Our immediate goal is to raise the funding required to launch the first youth finance cohort safely and transparently.
Please support or share this project so the first group of young entrepreneurs can begin.
We will continue to report openly and will provide a new update when funding is received or implementation begins.
With gratitude,
Constantine African Foundation
