Subject: Formal Status Declaration & Capital Activation Framework - Faith-Linked Microfinance Initiative
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear GlobalGiving Team,
This communication serves as a formal status declaration regarding the Faith-Linked Microfinance Initiative under the Orthodox Archdiocese of Accra.
As of the present reporting period, the project has not secured sufficient capital to activate its initial lending pool. Consequently:
No microloans have been approved.
No beneficiaries have been selected.
No funds have been disbursed.
No financial commitments or contingent obligations exist.
The initiative remains in a documented pre-capitalization phase.
Program architecture is fully developed and internally approved, including:
Defined loan eligibility and risk-screening criteria
Financial literacy and enterprise training curriculum
12-month mentorship oversight structure
Governance controls, repayment monitoring procedures, and AML-aligned safeguards
Capital ring-fencing protocol prior to disbursement authorization
Disbursement will occur only upon formal capitalization of the revolving fund and documented board authorization in accordance with internal governance and regulatory compliance standards.
Recognizing that microfinance models require a defined activation threshold to operate responsibly, we are conducting a structured capital activation review. This review evaluates milestone segmentation, phased capitalization options, and alignment with platform engagement dynamics to ensure disciplined and sustainable launch conditions.
The absence of disbursement at this stage reflects governance discipline, not operational stagnation. Implementation is capital-triggered by design, and execution will proceed immediately once the initial funding benchmark is secured.
We remain fully aligned with GlobalGiving’s transparency, reporting, and compliance framework and will continue to provide precise updates as capital activation progresses.
With respect and accountability,
Goerge Constantin
