Happy Sexual Assault Awareness Month!!
April is always a busy time for us at Fair Haven. We are usually swamped in events, speaking engagements, and of course, our Annual Walk in the Park! However, COVID has still got us getting creative with how we safely spread the message.
We have been participating in the #30daysofSAAM Challenge on our social media to spread the word of what Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Every day, we post a different form of awareness. It has been a lot of fun to get creative!
We are currently planning our 18th Annual Walk in the Park. We are so excited to incorporate TIE-DYE into this event-- showing that we are standing with every survivor of violence by tying all the colors together. This event will be held rain or shine at Wicker Memorial Park in Highland, IN. The event begins at 9:30am. We are going to have food donated by Rob's Meat Market, Photo Roamers by 219 Productions, and a bunch of tie-dye to make beautiful creations! We hope you will come out!
We are so appreciative of all the support we receive from the community we serve. We could not do it without you!
