Finding the Next Generation of Leaders

By Rogelio Cervantes | Development manager

We write to you with immense excitement and the firm belief that true change begins when we choose to act. After more than twelve years of impact—during which we have transformed the lives of over 210,000 students—we stand at a critical turning point. Looking ahead to the upcoming cycle, our absolute priority is to recruit and welcome a brand-new generation of Profesionales de Enseña por México (PEMs) who will step up to lead both inside and outside the classroom.

Educational disparity in our most vulnerable communities remains one of our country's most pressing challenges. To effectively address it, we cannot rely solely on past efforts; we must continuously revitalize our driving force. We are currently in the active phase of searching for and selecting talented professionals with a deep commitment to social justice. These incoming PEMs will fully immerse themselves in our rigorous Leadership Program, which equips them with pedagogical tools and socio-emotional innovation to become the urgent changemakers our schools need.

Integrating this new generation of PEMs is essential to expanding our support network, allowing us to continue empowering not only students, but also teachers and primary caregivers. Our goal remains clear: to ensure that a child's background does not dictate their destiny, and to provide them with the vital skills needed to build a future full of opportunities.

Your generous contributions on GlobalGiving are what sustain the infrastructure required to attract, train, and support these new talents as they transition into educational communities. Thank you for partnering with us during this phase of growth and renewal. Your trust is the engine that allows us to continue mobilizing collective leadership and securing a dignified, equitable education for Mexico.
