Sports and other fun for Children's Day!

Ba Futuru's peace center has been buzzing with lots of vibrate children and youth each afternoon playing ball, swinging and skate boarding.

During the month of May there were soccer matches with large numbers of bystanders everyday for two weeks between youth from across Dili.

For children's day on June 1st more than 50 children, young people and parents engaged in fun activities and competitions. Kids learnt about their rights and enjoyed face painting, games, music and dancing supported by Ba Futuru's staff.

Ba Futuru's skate boarding program is partnering with Extreme Timor-Leste in the coming months to have a skate boarding competition. Please lend your support to make this possible.

The young people at the Peace Center would love additional support for lighting and skateboarding equipment. So if you have stuff or funds please send them our way.
