Activities conducted last quarter for the beneficiaries supported:

  • EPL initiative (Explore, Play & Learn): EPL is an initiative with the core objective of taking Agastya sessions to the student’s home and providing the same Agastya experience to the students. Promoting the self-learning and self-exploring capacities of students and enables to learn through their household materials and daily life situations.
  • EPL 2.0 Program: On seeing the wonderful response given by students to EPL 1.0 we tried to extend this program to the next extent and launched EPL 2.0 program. We created whatsapp groups for every standard from each instructor. We designed the module such that we get exactly one week for each chapter. In this we took initiative even for clearing all the doubts of the children, and in order to do so we gave the contact numbers of our I.M.T instructors to the students. We even conducted online exams for the students on every topic in the weekends.
  • YIL Program: conducted YIL program activities in GHPS Satyamangala and GHPS Aralimaradapaly school. Students prepared the light topic low-cost models preparation and using leaf-made diagrams of animals.
  • Online Winter Camp: on 11th to 20th conducted online winter camp through Google meet. our program schools and nonprogram schools students joined by doing activities like low-cost model making, craftwork, rangoli drawing, design using leaves, etc. All students actively participated in the winter camp. Totally boys 276, Girls- 365 and Teachers- 24, Grand total- 665.
  • Science Fair: Conducted Science Fair on 12th January 2022 at GHPS Beladhara. Students and teachers participated in this program. Displayed a total of 31 models, including Biology, physics, and chemistry.   After Mr. Balakrishna KR (Head Master GHPS Bealadhara ) explained about the importance of science in our daily life and this type of program are helpful for students. In this program totally Boys 185, Girls- 245, and Teachers-13, Community members-22, YIL Boys -17, YIL Girls -14 total: 496 participated.
  • Community Visit: Conducted community visits in selected areas like ShettihalliPalya, Bommanahalli, Aregujjanahalli, Durgadahalli, and other villages. And explained about Pavada Rahasya Bayalu, awareness about superstition belief and a healthy environment in villages. This program is benefitted to people. It gives a scientific attitude and the importance of scientific experiments for people. Totally covered Boys-74, Girls-78, Men-51, and Community Women-50, Total:253 participated.
  • Teacher Training Program: On 21st January conducted “Teacher training program" via google meet platform. Topics covered like light, shadow and reflection, light, transparent materials, translucent materials, opaque materials, how the shadow is formed, types of mirrors, characteristics of image formation in a plane mirror, types of curved mirrors, image formation in a concave mirror, use of the convex mirror and concave mirror, types of images, etc... Teachers actively participated in training and cleared doubts. Totally 46 teachers participated.
  • School Visit: Conducted face-to-face classes to students, and reached students from 6th to 10th standard. Covered topics in science subject for 6th to 10th std. Topics covered are as light, electricity, water, air, states of matter, measurement of distance, and sound.
