God has really blessed us this first quarter of 2025! We have about 290 children attending this session of which atleast 80% are orphans. We aquired 7 acres of land adjacent to our own and have a few goats and have begun to plant coffee, beans, and maize to feed the children and to sell to create income for the school. We also have been allowed to have two classes that are getting ready for the national exam. Uganda has a national test students must pass to move on to high school. We also had more desks built and have completed the teachers' dormitory building as well so our teachers can live on site instead of walking several miles each day to teach. And thanks to the Water Step not for profit, we have added another water catchment and storage system.
God is bringing so many children from many villages and we are growing so rapidly that we greatly need your help to provide for these children! We have some of the children living onsite now and desperately need to build dorms and more restroom facilities for them. We also are located in a very rural area and do not have electricty so solar power is much needed as well. A well on site is another need we have as our children walk buckets to a regional water source now each day. We have water storage/catchment but those are shared with Mpunge village where we are located so our daily needs can't be met any longer by those alone. A well on site would provide us with clean water and help provide a water source during the drought season. God is good! Won't you please consider helping us meet the rapidly growing needs of orphans, single mothers, and widows in the Mpunge village and the Rakai dsitrict in Uganda?
