The second quarter for us has been a huge blessing! We are currently up to almost 300 children attending the school each academic term! And when the term is out, we have about 50 orphaned children living on the campus. The school was also deemed large enough by the local educational authority that we are now part of the regions school atheltic league so our children can complete in athletics against other schools. On the financial front we were blessed enough to payoff our land loan from the bank that was used to aquire more land so we currently have an almost 7 acre campus. Part of that land has been used to plant coffee as a means to raise funds to operate the school. We have been growing so rapildy that our very limited resources have been overwhelmed. We need to drill a well on campus to secure a cleaner water, are currently building a second latrine, need to build at least two more classroom buildings and a dorm, need to install solar equipment, and need to cover increased costs for supplies and food as we have more children attending each session.
