Your contribution will support FEBA's mission which consists in contributing to the reduction of hunger and malnutrition in Europe, through the fight against food waste and the call for solidarity, by supporting and developing Food Banks in countries where they are most needed. FEBA represents 30 members across Europe; in 2021, the 341 Food Banks belonging to our membership redistributed 907,280 tonnes of food to 45,810 charities providing food assistance to 11.8 million most deprived people.

FEBA supports and develops Food Banks in countries where they are most needed. Food Banks daily focus in recovering surplus food from different sources and to redistribute it to the people in need.
The activities of FEBA and its membership focus to have a positive impact on the United Nations SDGs 2 "zero hunger" and 12 "responsible consumption and production". Recovering and redistributing surplus food, we aim to prevent food waste and reduce food insecurity. As stated in EU Food donation guidelines, "when food surpluses occur, the best destination, which ensures the highest value use of edible food resources, is to redistribute these for human consumption".
