The Dumaguete City Tourism Office recently launched its new branding and new signage located near the Tourist Assistance and Information Office – which serves the local and international tourists who come to Dumaguete.
Strategically located near the port, the new tourism show window - the Rizal Boulevard Sea Deck with the signage #DumaGeTmE was unveiled to the public last January 20.
The said showroom will definitely add to the city’s attractions with its colorful signage at night and together with the tourist information center, it will provide a venue for the tourists to have a picturesque view of the city of Dumaguete. In fact, the Mayor said that the signage was the first of the many developments that will be introduced in the boulevard.
As with the tourist center, it complements the new sea deck because aside from providing service to the local and international tourists, it has become a favorite spot for people to look at the city from afar. It offers a wide view of the Rizal Boulevard thus, becomes a good spot to take a picture and have the city at the background for the photo.
In retrospect, the Dumaguete City Tourism and Assistance Center has been utilized by the City Tourism Office as a satellite office with one staff deployed to cater the needs and inquiries of tourists and provide information materials, as well.
