Building Trust of Communities in Education system
Kole Intellectual Forum is helping their communities at Kole District to work through, their education problems or difficulties that has engulfed the region for decades; by empowering their mind set to embrace value of education through Community integration program and community creative capacity building.
These communities, with the initiative of Kole Intellectual Forum; in the frequent meetings those are held after every two weeks; they have agreed to start up income generating projects that can help them to support the education system of their children.
For instance, with the support of community of Angic - Angic upper and lower cells in Kole District; they have started up youth empowerment project, in the name of Youth Empowerment Project Angic – I; they have raised some fund, tht is expected to be enough to start up youth welding workshop, and to register their project with Bala sub-county, Kole district Northern Uganda; meanwhile those of Aumi community have chosen to support women project; they are also in the process of documentation.
Kole Intellectual Forum therefore is confident that, with your support (the donors, advocates, GlobalGiving and well-wishers; the mindset of these communities to value formal education will soon be transformed.
