Nurturing a younger generation: A better Future

Kole Intellectual Forum, is such Community Based Organization that is advocating for quality, sustainable, and potential-driven education that is meant ensure that, there is an inclusive, equitable learning that empowers individuals to reach their full potential and addresses global, social, and environmental challenges. In another words, they mean , they are nurturing younger generation for a better future.

The key issues and points of Kole Intellectual Forum’s advocacy include:

1. Inclusive and Equitable Access

  • Free & Compulsory Schooling: Advocating for all children to complete free, equitable, and quality primary and secondary education.
  • Marginalized Groups: Eliminating gender disparities and ensuring vulnerable populations—including children in rural areas, individuals with disabilities, and indigenous groups—have equal access to education. 

2. Quality of Learning & Skill Development

  • Beyond Rote Memorization: Pushing for curriculums that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical skill development.
  • Technical & Vocational Training (TVET): Expanding affordable vocational, technical, and tertiary education so that youth and adults are equipped for the modern job market and entrepreneurship.

3. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)

  • Global Citizenship & Sustainability: Ensuring learners acquire the specific knowledge and values needed to promote sustainable development. This involves teaching sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, and promoting a culture of peace.
  • Action-Oriented Learning: Empowering students to take informed, solution-oriented decisions that care for the planet's resources and support circular economies. 

4. Fostering Individual Potential

  • Lifelong Learning: Promoting continuous learning opportunities for everyone, at every stage of life, to adapt to evolving technologies and changing economic landscapes.
  • Learner-Centered Education: Acknowledging the prior knowledge of the individual and adapting teaching processes to accommodate different learning styles, nurturing every student's innate potential.
