Planners of the intended proposed health facility by Kole Intellectual Forum have identified Microscopic Anatomy health service, also known as histology health services, as one of the key services they would be providing at their facility since thàt particular service is lacking within their area of operations; of course, the service will include the study of cells and tissues of humans, and it will be done in the laboratory through microscope.
And in the microscopic anatomy, the technicain will be able to learn about the structure of cells and how they relate to each other.
For example, if a person has cancer, examining the tissue under the microscope will definitely reveal how the cancerous cells are acting and how they can affect healthy tissue.
The laboratory technician may apply histological techniques such as sectioning and staining to tissues and cells and then examine them under an electron or light microscope.
Sectioning is another way of examination that involves cutting tissue into very thin slices for close examination.
The aim of staining tissues and cells is to add or enhance color. This makes it easier to identify the specific tissues under investigation.
For the good reason that: histology is vital for the understanding and advancement of medicine that would be useful for the treatment of the would be their patients
