Project Update: The Missing Link for 2,500 Schoolgirls
Your Support at Work
Dear GlobalGiving Community,
Its been a great half to the year so far! Because of you, thousands of girls are gaining the power to stay in school, unhindered by their monthly periods. We have a proven, sustainable solution ready: 8,000 reusable sanitary pad kits are packed and waiting to change lives.
3,000 Pairs Secured!
Thanks to a phenomenal response to our community drives and a crucial international partnership, we have collected 3,000 pairs of underwear toward our goal.
Our Annual Drive: Local supporters collected 2,000 pairs.
Global Solidarity: The Scottish charity Smalls for All stepped up with an incredible donation of 1,000 pairs.
This means 3,000 girls are fully covered, and we believe we can reach even more girls this year!
Keeping Girls in School
The pad kits are ready. The schools are waiting. The only thing standing between another 2,500 girls and their uninterrupted education is a simple, dignified pair of underwear.
