Lilis Oven Bakery Project aims to help a talented local baker in Uganda grow her home baking business into a commercial bakery. Funding will support the purchase of essential equipment such as an electric oven, industrial mixer, and baking tools. The bakery also provides affordable baking training to women and young people, helping them gain practical skills and create income opportunities.
Many small home-based bakers in Uganda struggle to grow because they lack modern baking equipment and reliable production space. This limits income, job creation, and opportunities for women and youth who want to learn baking skills but cannot afford expensive training programs.
This project will equip Lilis Oven with a commercial mixer, electric oven, and assorted baking items needed to increase production and improve quality. Expanding the bakery will create more jobs, increase income, and allow more women and young people to access affordable baking training and livelihood opportunities
To build a sustainable community bakery that creates employment, empowers women and youth with practical baking skills, and supports local economic growth through affordable training and quality baked products.
