The Equality Awareness Program for 500 Youth in Kano is currently at an early implementation stage, with total funding of $2,000 still outstanding. As of this reporting period, no funds have been received, leaving the project at 0% financial progress. This funding gap has delayed the commencement of key activities, including workshop planning, facilitator engagement, and procurement of training materials.
Despite the lack of financial inflow, preparatory efforts have begun at a minimal level using internal support. Initial groundwork such as community outreach planning, identification of potential facilitators, and development of culturally sensitive training frameworks has been outlined. However, full execution remains dependent on securing the required funds.
The project team continues to prioritize fundraising efforts and donor engagement to meet the $2,000 target. Once funding is secured, implementation is expected to begin immediately, with a structured rollout plan already in place to ensure efficient use of resources and timely delivery of outcomes.
